Sometimes the kiln’s a little *too* excited 🔥🔥🔥

We use pyrometric cones to track heat work inside the kiln—basically little clay markers that melt at certain temps to show us what’s really happening in there. This spot? Cone 11 melted down… that’s around 2,345°F. Things got a bit spicy in this pocket 😅 .

BUT lucky we had minor loss. Only a couple pieces ended up running to much and failing. Happy Monday Pottery Life!
